The Mists of Pandaria cinematic was unveiled recently, and it was very cool, as Blizzard cinematics always are. The music, the ambiance, and the sweeping, epic feel hit all the right notes. Back in August of last year, while I was playing the WoW: Cataclysm beta, I first encountered the quest in the Badlands where you help Rheastrasza recreate an uncorrupted black dragon egg. The final cinematic for the Deathwing fight isn't out yet but some videos from the PTR are out showing basically the entire fight. It doesn't look all that interesting but raid videos rarely do, and it's totally different when you're actually playing it ( Read more... )

I played through the first half of Azshara last night on my goblin warlock. She's now level 20. Blizzard really outdid themselves on the humor in this zone. Not every quest is humorous, but I giggled my way through an awful lot of them. I know the worgen areas aren't nearly as finished as the goblin ones, but they're going to have to do ( Read more... )
